The Brompton 200 exhibition runs at the Royal Engineers Museum, Library and Archive until the end of December 2012. The exhibition takes a look at the past 200 years and reviews how civilian life has been impacted by living side by side with the Corps of Royal Engineers.
The exhibition, which is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has been curated by members of the Brompton History Research Group. It features items from the Royal Engineers Museum’s stores which have never previously been on display alongside objects on loan from members of the local community. The exhibition will also showcase some of the oral histories the Museum and the History Group have been collecting over the past few months.
Entrance to the exhibition is included with the Royal Engineers Museum entrance ticket (which is valid for 12 months).
