FREE Guided tours of Brompton & local area

Join the Brompton History Research Group and the Royal Engineers Museum on FREE historical tours of Brompton Village and the surrounding area. Walks will be at a leisurely pace with plenty of stops with no real steep parts! Unfortunately the Chatham Lines Walk may be unsuitable for some wheelchairs. The Chatham Lines Walk lasts around 2 to 2 ½ hours (2.5miles/4km) and the Brompton Village Walk lasts around 2 to 2 ½ hours (1mile/1.5km). 

Parking is available at the Royal Engineers Museum but please note at weekend the car park opens at 10.30am and is locked promptly at 6pm. Tea and Coffee available after morning walks at the Royal Engineers Museum. Feeling hungry after the walk?! Why not try one of the many eating establishments in Brompton Village. There are a number of pubs serving meals, a fish n' chip shop and sandwich bar.

2.30 pm - Brompton Village Walk - King George V Pub: Brompton
