At Gillingham Library our outreach team was approached by a chap who’s mother in law lives in Prospect Row. He told us that in 1910 number 14 Prospect Row had a fire and had to be rebuilt and that the house next door is one of the older houses of Brompton. He also remembered the alley way at the top of Prospect Row that soldiers used to use as a short cut until it was blocked off.
